Uzbekistan and the United States expand cooperation in geology
The Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan Bobur Islamov met with a delegation led by Randy McCrillis, Senior International Officer at the University of Utah.
The talks focused on strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States in geology and mining.
The parties expressed interest in expanding ties in education and science. Representatives of the University of Utah expressed interest in training highly qualified specialists for the geology and mining sectors and in advancing cooperation in scientific research.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on training personnel for these sectors, advancing research, and expanding cooperation in modern technologies.
