During a working visit to the UAE, a delegation from Namangan region participated in a tourism event in Abu Dhabi.

The conference, which brought together diplomatic missions from more than 30 countries, tourism experts, and representatives of the business community, became an essential platform for developing cooperation.

“The experience of Abu Dhabi in the development of the tourism sector can be beneficial”, noted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the UAE Abdullaziz Akkulov. “Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and our other cities located in the central part of the Great Silk Road hold special significance in the history of world civilization. They are, in a sense, an ‘open-air museum’”.

As part of the event, more than ten meetings were held, during which our international counterparts were informed about Namangan’s tourism potential. Important cooperation agreements were reached with Egypt, India, Bahrain, and the Maldives.
