The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Uzbekistan, Lubomir Frebort.

Issues related to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the mining industry and geology were discussed during the talks. The parties stressed the importance of implementing joint projects to increase production capacity and introduce new technologies. Special attention was paid to the production of equipment jointly with Czech companies as part of the localization program. The possibilities of sharing experiences and innovations in this field were discussed.

It was noted that Czech companies are interested in investing in Uzbekistan’s mining sector. Proposals for the implementation of promising projects have been put forward.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation and sign agreements.
