Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Borut Jamnik, President of the Management Board and CEO of Slovenia’s promotional development and export bank, SID Bank.

At the meeting, the CEO expressed the bank’s readiness to engage directly with Uzbekistan partner banks and financial institutions. Additionally, through its Slovenian partners, SID Bank is already implementing projects in Uzbekistan in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors, including cooperation between Uzbektelecom and the Slovenian company Iskratel.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached regarding the allocation of specialized credit lines by SID Bank for Uzbekistan banks.
