Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan: Exploring new opportunities for sports cooperation
During his visit to Uzbekistan, Aivaz Omorkanov, President of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, toured the Olympic Village.
He highly praised the organization of competitions, as well as the conditions and opportunities created for sports activities.

At the Islamic Civilization Center, the guest learned about the Center’s history, its areas of activity, Uzbekistan’s rich scientific and educational heritage, and the country’s invaluable contribution to the development of Islamic civilization.



Aivaz Omorkanov met with A. Ikramov, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and O. Umarov, the First Deputy Chair of the National Olympic Committee. The discussion focused on the shared objectives of the Olympic movement and plans for future collaboration. The parties also discussed projects involving national teams, sports experts, and coaches, as well as the joint organization of prominent competitions.
