Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan strengthen partnership
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev.
During the meeting, the parties acknowledged the strong relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, built in recent years through the political will of the two countries’ leaders. It was highlighted that cooperation is growing rapidly and spans many areas.

The discussions were meaningful and addressed key issues related to bilateral and multilateral partnerships. After the meeting, a Cooperation Program between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministries for 2026-2027 was signed.
The parties also discussed the substantial potential for growth in trade, economic, transport, and logistics cooperation.
As noted by Mr. Saidov, the discussions will provide further momentum for strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
