Uzbekistan and Cyprus discuss expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and logistics
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met in Tashkent with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.
The parties reviewed the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Cyprus. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in trade and investment, transport and logistics, and to strengthening ties between the business communities of the two countries.
The interlocutors discussed opportunities to implement new joint projects and initiatives aimed at intensifying their mutually beneficial partnership.
In addition, the ministers exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agenda, reaffirming their interest in continuing constructive political dialogue and in strengthening cooperation on various international platforms.
