Uzbekistan and Bahrain explore prospects for cooperation

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain held the first round of political consultations in Manama, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.

During the talks, the sides discussed ways to strengthen political dialogue and develop bilateral relations. They focused in particular on expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

The participants also explored opportunities to expand cooperation among international organizations.

The sides also discussed current international and regional issues.
