Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan women’s chess teams compete for a spot in the World Championship
Baku hosts the matches for the World Chess Championship between the women’s national teams of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan’s Afruza Hamdamova, Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova, Umida Omonova, Guldona Karimova and Madinabonu Khalilova are defending the country’s honor at this tournament.
The tournament will run until November 3.
