A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the head of Uzbek Overseas Geology Company Khayitboy Omonov, is currently on a working visit to Afghanistan.

During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mining and Petroleum, where the prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of geology were discussed.

The participants also addressed issues related to the issuance of licenses by Uzbek Overseas Geology Company for geological exploration, permissions for the construction of field camps, the provision of import and export benefits for geological equipment, and the establishment of cooperation to enhance the qualifications of Afghan specialists.
