Uzbek literature and culture evenings have been organized in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Representatives of the two countries’ cultural and art sectors are participating in the event, organized by the local Palace of Culture.

“Uzbek poems and songs made a huge impression on us”, says Director of the Palace of Culture, Imaima Ismail. “We hope that the creativity of representatives of modern Arabic poetry will also impress the guests. Soon, the repertoire of our theaters will include performances based on Uzbek works”.
