
The exhibition titled “Light Between Worlds” is opening at the New Jerusalem State Museum of History and Art in the city of Istra, Moscow region, aiming to present the unexplored facets of Uzbek and Russian modernism to a broad audience.
This exposition, organized on the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation initiative, is the first international project to combine two significant art museum collections from the 1920s-1930s.



The exhibition features over 160 paintings and graphic works by 40 artists from the collections of the New Jerusalem Museum and the State Museum of Art of the Republic of Karakalpakstan named after I. V. Savitsky.



“Light Between Worlds” will be open to art enthusiasts from May 30 to November 8, 2025.
