Turkish Open 2026: three medals added to the count
A total of 3,278 athletes from 67 countries are participating in the international taekwondo WT tournament, Turkish Open 2026.
On the first day of the G2 category adult competitions, members of the Uzbekistan national team won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. In the under-67 kg weight class, Ozoda Sobirjonova defeated all her opponents to take the gold medal, while Sevinch Khayitova (62 kg), who reached the final, won the silver medal. The bronze medal for the Uzbekistan team was secured by Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg).
