During his trip to Namangan region on March 25-26, 2024, the Head of state got acquainted with the activities of the Gavhar Group jewelry enterprise in Yangi Namangan district and gave instructions on the development of the industry in the region.

Over the past year, systematic work has been carried out in this area. In particular, measures are being taken to launch a large gold processing and sales center in Namangan based on Türkiye’s experience.

Türkiye’s Lucca Gold Factory has extensive experience in gold processing. A delegation led by its CEO, Yalçın Akın, visited Namangan region. The region’s Hokim, Shavkat Abdurazzoqov, received the guests.

Issues of establishing the production of gold products in Namangan with the participation of a foreign company were discussed at the meeting. It was noted that Namangan has significant potential to expand production and increase jewelry exports.

It is planned to invest $5 million in the Namangan Gold Factory. The Turkish partners are currently exploring the possibilities of locating the enterprise in the regional center.
