Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a high-level conference titled “Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision”.

This meeting, organized as part of preparations for the upcoming 13th Summit of the Heads of State of the OTS, to be held in Ankara, brought together representatives from diplomatic, academic, and media circles.

The event, organized by the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye in cooperation with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, addressed the most urgent global challenges and the preservation of the common historical and cultural heritage, which is considered the foundation of cooperation in the Turkic World. The discussion focused on the regional and global situation, economic and political connectivity, digital transformation, and the effective use of artificial intelligence capabilities.

Discussions also covered information security, combating disinformation and digital manipulation, and elevating bilateral relations to a new level. Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), and Ufuk Ulutaş, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Uzbekistan, emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation between the two countries and common Turkic cooperation.

The Tashkent meeting has become more than a diplomatic dialogue. It is a practical platform for developing concrete proposals among Turkic states in information, education, and digital technology. The ideas and recommendations put forward at the meeting will help enrich the agenda of the upcoming OTS Summit of the Heads of State in Ankara.
