Training of qualified pilots for military aviation – a matter of time
In a market economy, the training of competitive, highly qualified military personnel has become a real task.
The military education system plays a significant role in improving cadets’ skills and in training pedagogical and scientific personnel. The Institute of Military Aviation, established based on the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs that take into account all modern requirements, and a unified education system based on information-communication technologies, English, and natural sciences has been introduced.
Professors, teachers, and cadets actively participate in research, inventive, and innovative projects. In recent years, the university’s scientific potential has grown from 9.6 percent to 56.2 percent. Professors and teachers have published more than 150 scientific articles and projects, and cadets successfully participated in Olympiads and competitions.
The Institute also cooperates with higher military educational institutions in 15 foreign countries in the fields of personnel training and research projects. Cadets improve their skills at higher military educational institutions in Europe and Asia. Young pilots and engineers are trained on modern helicopters and airplanes, as well as in laboratories. Sports and spiritual education contribute to the physical and spiritual development of cadets.
Consistent and purposeful work conducted at the Institute of Military Aviation is of great importance for ensuring high professional and moral training of cadets and increasing the potential of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
