Tourist visits between Uzbekistan and Belarus are on the rise

The National Statistics Committee reports that 14,251 Belarusian citizens traveled to Uzbekistan for tourism between January and May 2026.

This figure grew by 9.7% from the same period last year.

When examining the reasons for travel among Belarusian citizens, there were 7,053 visits for tourism, 5,688 for official matters, 1,502 for visiting family, 5 for medical care, and 3 for education.

Additionally, during this time, 1,101 Uzbekistan citizens traveled to Belarus for tourism.

Among the travel purposes of Uzbekistan citizens, travel was the most common, totaling 914 people. Additionally, 121 citizens traveled to visit relatives, 31 for official reasons, 28 for studies, and 7 for medical treatment.
