On November 29, Tourism Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia E.S.Margianti was awarded a diploma, the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

The program of the event included presentations about E.S.Margianti and her activities in the sphere of strengthening friendship between Uzbekistan and Indonesia, on further projects in the sphere of promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Indonesia and cooperation in the sphere of education in cooperation with the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In order to expand international cooperation in development of tourism, cooperation in training personnel for tourism industry and promotion of the country’s tourism potential abroad, the State Committee for Tourism Development has initiated the issue of introducing the Tourism Brand Ambassador of Uzbekistan Institute and has already appointed Tourism Brand Ambassadors in Japan, South Korea, Israel, Kazakhstan and other countries. To this end, for the new appointment to such an honorary position the State Committee for Tourism Development chose the candidacy of Professor E.S.Margianti, the rector of Indonesia’s largest private university Gunadarma, and the Chair of Indonesia – Uzbekistan Friendship Society in Indonesia.
