The press conference held on 22 January in Tashkent was dedicated to the content and significance of the international exhibitions and conferences scheduled for 2026.
Oyimkhon Bobojonova, Director of Iteca Exhibitions, gave a briefing at the event attended by industry specialists, officials, and media representatives:
– International exhibitions organized across various sectors play an essential role in ensuring the implementation of the reforms being carried out in our country. Therefore, communicating these efforts to the broader public and demonstrating performance indicators of economic growth through our organization’s activities in this area is of practical significance in every respect.
From the first month of this year, Iteca Exhibitions launched its 31st exhibition season. Accordingly, during the presentation, we shared an expanded geography of participating countries, broadened exhibition themes, and an updated events calendar.
It should be noted that this year, 22 international exhibitions and 5 conferences are planned to be held at Uzexpocentre and CAEx Uzbekistan. Of particular significance, the following international anniversary exhibitions will take place: “TIHE – Healthcare” (30 years), “UzFood – Food Industry” (25 years), “MiningMetals Uzbekistan – Mining and Metallurgy” (20 years), and “E-TechExpo – Electronics and Innovative Technologies” (5 years).
We will open the spring exhibition season with the country’s leading construction exhibition, UzBuild. In addition, the international exhibitions AgroWorld Uzbekistan, UzFood, O’ZuPACK, and WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan will also be organized.
The debut event of the 2026 exhibition season will be the World Water Forum – Tashkent Water Week 2026, which will be held simultaneously with the AgroWorld Uzbekistan. The forum will be organized by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of several organizations. It will provide participants with a unique platform to exchange experiences, discuss innovative approaches, and develop joint strategies for water resource management.
In the autumn season, 10 international exhibitions will be held, along with several business sessions and forums.
At this point, it is also worth reviewing the analysis of the 2025 figures. According to the data, 20 international exhibitions, 4 prestigious forums, and 36 thematic seminars were held last year. A total of 4,311 companies and brands, 251 speakers and moderators, and 3,957 delegates from 55 countries took part in the events. The overall number of participants reached 101,160 people from 75 countries. This demonstrates the scope of our company’s exhibition projects and their high level of international recognition.
