The Yunus Emre Institute office opens in Tashkent
The official opening ceremony of the Yunus Emre Institute office was held at the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi.
An exhibition of the art of “Tezhip”, showcasing samples of gold ornamentation of manuscripts – an important part of Eastern book culture – was organized for the guests. The works demonstrating gilding techniques received high praise from visitors.

The event was attended by the Ambassadors of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Ufuk Ulutaş and Huseyn Guliyev, the head of the Yunus Emre Institute, Abdurrahman Aliy, and the Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Isajon Sultonov.

In his speech, the Rector of the university, Academician Shukhrat Sirojiddinov, noted that the center serves not only as a place for language learning, but also as a platform for open communication among scholars, young talents, and representatives of the intelligentsia. He also emphasized its role in developing new scientific and educational initiatives.
