The State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi hosted the final stage of the Competizione dell’ Opera 2023 – International Italian Opera Singing Competition.

This competition was organized to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On measures for the further development of opera and ballet art” of December 27, 2021, introducing the people to the best national and classical works of opera.

Opera singers from Türkiye, South Korea, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and several other countries participated in the current international competition.

The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to Khojanazar Jumayev, Uzbekistan. The first place was taken by Yunho Hwan (South Korea), the second place was awarded to Yulia Nikanorova (Russia), and the third – to Uzbekistan’s Aminzoda Jumaniyazov. The winners were awarded diplomas, statuettes, and cash prizes.

The winners of the Competizione dell’ Opera 2023 – International Italian Opera Singing Competition announced
