The sabre fencing team competitions were held as part of the Asian Cadet and Junior Fencing Championships, which took place in Kuwait.

The Uzbekistan national team members, Fernando Herrera, Ayakoz Jumamuratova, Gulistan Perdibayeva, and Samira Shokirova, defeated all their rivals and took first place among 16 teams.

Hong Kong took the second, while South Korea and Kazakhstan took the third place.
