The share of ICT services in Uzbekistan’s economy amounts to almost 2%
The State Statistics Committee has published data on the share of ICT services in the gross domestic product of Uzbekistan.
According to the Committee, in January-June, the share of ICT services in the country’s economy amounted to 1.8%.
The value added of ICT services consists of communication services – 68.3%, computer programming, consultations and other related services – 18.2%, data hosting and processing services, Web portals – 6.1%, PC repair and communication equipment – 4.8%, software – 2.6%.
