At the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, a discussion was held on the results of implementing the MUNIS project and plans for its further development.
The project “Modernization of Uzbekistan’s National Innovation System” (MUNIS) is an important initiative to modernize the fields of science, technology, and innovation.


The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Uktam Salomov, World Bank experts Yeraly Beksultan, Anna Ubaydullaeva, and Gaukhar Ospanova, as well as Dilshod Azgarov, head of the MUNIS project implementation group.
During the discussion, the project’s main achievements were reviewed, including strengthening the national innovation ecosystem, developing research infrastructure, enhancing the capacity of scientific organizations, and commercializing the results of scientific activities.


Participants exchanged views on the priority areas of the project’s second phase, which aim to further accelerate reforms in science, technology, and innovation, expand support mechanisms for scientific and innovative initiatives, strengthen the role of the private sector, and enhance international cooperation.
