The quality of higher education discussed
An international training workshop, “Strengthening quality assurance in Uzbek Higher Education: AMBA & BGA Practices”, was organized in Tashkent in collaboration with the Association of MBAs & Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA).
Heads of higher education institutions, specialists responsible for ensuring educational quality, academic leaders, and international experts attended the event.
It was noted that the workshop is an important platform for developing the quality assurance system for higher education in Uzbekistan, introducing international accreditation standards, and promoting business education.
The participants discussed current issues related to ensuring the quality of business education, obtaining international accreditation under AMBA & BGA standards, developing strategies for the institutional development of universities, and adapting curricula to global standards and labor market requirements. The participants exchanged views with international experts on the latest trends and requirements in business education.
Several sessions were held throughout the day, during which international experience, cooperation with British business schools, mechanisms for ensuring educational quality, and innovative approaches were discussed. Leading AMBA & BGA specialists and other experts delivered presentations. The event also featured interactive sessions, roundtables, and discussions.
Educational organizations – members of the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association – were awarded certificates. This is a significant step toward the international recognition of Uzbekistan’s higher education system.
