Uzbekistan delegation led by the Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev arrived in Hanoi at the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

A meeting took place between the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev and the Prosecutor General of Vietnam Le Minh Tri.

The parties discussed promising areas for further developing cooperation between the control structures of the two countries.

Following the meeting, an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters was signed between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which allows the competent authorities of the two states to cooperate within the framework of the criminal process.
