The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will pay an official visit to this country on January 13-16.

The visit program includes meetings and events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In the capital of the UAE, the President of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral talks with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, meet with the heads of leading government organizations, companies, and banks of the country, and also take part in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

A meeting with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is scheduled in Dubai.

The agenda of the visit includes issues of further deepening the friendship and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE, enhancing practical interaction in priority areas such as investment, green energy, infrastructure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative development, tourism, and many others. Particular attention will be paid to intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchange.

Current aspects of international and regional policy will also be considered.

Following the high-level talks, a solid package of agreements is expected to be adopted to develop full-scale cooperation between the two states.
