The President of Uzbekistan to pay a working visit to Switzerland
At the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on January 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed on a working visit to Switzerland to participate in the upcoming ceremony in Davos marking the signing of the Charter of the Board of Peace, created at the initiative of the American leader.
Earlier, the President of Uzbekistan accepted the invitation to join the Board as a founding member.
In his message to the U.S. President, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that this initiative is seen as an essential step in resolving long-standing conflicts in the Middle East and ensuring peace and stability in the broader region.
