As part of the program of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev.

The distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Current issues related to developing and strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were discussed.

Special attention was given to forming a new agenda for comprehensive cooperation in the trade and economic, transport and communications, energy, and water management sectors, as well as enhancing collaboration across various branches of the economy.

The importance of thorough preparation for the upcoming Forum of Regions and several joint business and cultural events was also emphasized.
