On May 17, during a telephone conversation, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly congratulated the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on his birthday, sincerely wishing him great success in his responsible state duties for the well-being and prosperity of the brotherly people of Kazakhstan.

The current issues related to further developing and strengthening good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were discussed.

The schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings and multilateral events was reviewed.

Particular attention was given to continuing efforts to form a new agenda for bilateral practical cooperation, covering priority areas such as trade, industrial cooperation, efficient logistics, agriculture, tourism, education, and cultural exchange.
