As part of the program of the Tashkent Investment Forum, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

At the beginning of the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to the President of Uzbekistan.

Issues related to further deepening friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed, including the increase in trade volume, the expansion of industrial cooperation, the intensification of interregional contacts, and cultural and humanitarian exchange.

Special attention was given to accelerating primary regional energy and transport communications projects, including constructing the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway.

The importance of the fruitful organization of this year’s upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regional Heads was emphasized.
