On June 10, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Fourth Tashkent Investment Forum.

At the beginning of the meeting, Alexander Novak conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to the President of Uzbekistan and congratulated him on the successful organization of the forum.

Issues related to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit to Uzbekistan in May of last year and other high-level contacts were discussed.

Special attention was given to expanding mutually beneficial partnerships in the energy sector, accelerating joint oil and gas projects, and developing cooperation in peaceful nuclear energy.
