The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan extended birthday congratulations to the President of Uzbekistan, wishing him good health, well-being, and great success in his responsible state activities. He also conveyed congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The strengthening of friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE, as well as the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the UAE in January this year, were addressed.

The expansion of practical cooperation in priority areas, primarily in trade and economy, investment, innovation, and transport and communications was noted with satisfaction. Trade volumes, the portfolio of joint investment projects, the number of joint ventures, and the frequency of air flights are all on the rise. The importance of maintaining close dialogue and ensuring thorough preparation for upcoming high-level meetings was emphasized.
