The President of Uzbekistan departs for Pakistan
On February 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Pakistan on a state visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.
As previously reported, high-level talks and the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council will take place in Islamabad.
Issues related to strengthening friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan will be discussed.
Following the summit, a Joint Declaration and a substantial package of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
The business program for the visit includes the Head of State’s participation in a joint business forum and other events.
