On December 26, as part of the cultural program of the informal CIS Summit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the palace and park complexes of Saint Petersburg.

The President of Uzbekistan, together with the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, visited the Pavlovsk, Tsarskoye Selo, and Peterhof museum reserves.

All three historical monuments, created during the 18th and 19th centuries, are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and are recognized as architecture and landscape masterpieces.

During the excursions, the heads of state were informed about the palaces’ history, decoration, and art collections. Classical music concerts and folklore performances were organized for the distinguished guests.
