On May 19-22, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay official visits to Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia.

The President will arrive in Budapest on May 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.

High-level talks, meetings with officials, and leaders of major Hungarian companies are scheduled.

The agenda will focus on further expanding practical cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries.

On May 21, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in the capital of Hungary.

On May 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet with the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, in Ljubljana. The President will also hold talks with the leadership of the Slovenian Parliament and Government and participate in joint business events.

The agenda includes discussions on developing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, implementing joint projects in pharmaceuticals, industry, food processing, and the textile sector, as well as cooperation in labor migration and the expansion of humanitarian ties.
