On June 23, the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met the President of Mongolia and his spouse at Tashkent International Airport.

The two countries’ national flags were raised in honor of the distinguished guest, and a guard of honor was lined up.

During the main high-level talks, which will take place tomorrow, June 24, issues of further development of friendship and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Mongolia will be discussed.

It is also planned that the leaders of Uzbekistan and Mongolia will meet with representatives of the two countries’ business circles.

In accordance with the visit program, the President of Mongolia will also visit the city of Khiva, where he will get acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan people.
