President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is in Uzbekistan on a state visit, accompanied by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov visited the New Uzbekistan Park and laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the great monument erected in honor of our Homeland, our courageous, peace-loving and hardworking hero people. The Independence Monument, on top of which the Humo bird is depicted, was erected in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence in 2021. The most important events are captured here. The vivid images of our great scientists and glorious ancestors cause pride in our hearts. The high-ranking guest highly appreciated the creative work carried out in the New Uzbekistan Park.

The main events of the visit will be held on December 22.

Current issues of bilateral and regional significance will be discussed during the high-level talks. The agenda includes such key issues as further strengthening strategic partnership and alliance, increasing the volume of mutual trade, promoting profitable joint projects on industrial cooperation, enhancing cooperation in agriculture, transport and logistics, continuing active interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchange.

The heads of state are planning to launch several major investment projects. Following the meetings, it is planned to adopt a significant package of bilateral agreements on priority areas of practical cooperation.
