The number of motor vehicles owned by individuals in Uzbekistan reached 4.73 million as of October 1, 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Passenger cars continue to make up the overwhelming majority of the fleet, accounting for 92.9% of all registered vehicles. Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of passenger cars increased by 415.3 thousand.

Breakdown of privately owned vehicles by type:

Passenger cars: 4,392.4 thousand units;

Trucks: 312.7 thousand units;

Minibuses: 7.5 thousand units

Special-purpose vehicles: 7.3 thousand units;

Buses: 6 thousand units.
