The new school will serve to bring the two fraternal peoples closer together

Establishing the activities of Uzbek schools abroad will, first of all, allow fellow compatriots to preserve their national language and culture.

Uzbekistan citizens will be able to consolidate the traditions and values they received from their parents, and acquire modern knowledge that will allow them to compete internationally.

This year, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye took part in the opening ceremony of the “Uzbekiston” Residential Complex in Hatay province and the groundbreaking ceremony for an Uzbek school in Istanbul.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the new 600-seat school will become the first public educational institution in Uzbekistan established abroad.

Children of Uzbek families living in Türkiye will have the opportunity to receive education in their native language. The educational process will be conducted in accordance with Uzbekistan’s general education programs.

The parties expressed confidence that this educational institution will contribute to rapprochement between the two fraternal peoples and become an essential center for the education and upbringing of the younger generation.
