The Ministry of Energy, JSC Thermal Power Plants and JSC Takhiatash TPP have handed over to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan a modern medical diagnostic center and a sewing workshop with all the facilities built in Takhiatash, Karakalpakstan.
As previously reported, a medical diagnostic center and a sewing workshop were built and put into operation at JSC Takhiatash TPP.
To implement the idea of “For human dignity” put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and ensure the implementation of the state program for the execution of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in the Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Mahalla Development, it was decided to transfer the center to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and create conditions for its widespread use by the population of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

According to the Chief Physician of the Diagnostic Center Tabassum Ruzmetova, the institution is equipped with the most modern equipment. Services are provided to the population by medical personnel with sufficient experience using modern MRI, electrocardiogram, videoendoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics, dentistry and other medical devices.

The medical center will also conduct research in this area, organize medical practices and high-tech procedures with the involvement of foreign specialists, and organize work to improve the skills of medical professionals in the region.
It is also envisaged to ensure women’s employment through the establishment of a sewing workshop, teaching women living in the most remote areas the secrets of entrepreneurship, and thus ensuring the well-being of families.

According to the JSC Thermal Power Plants Press Service, both projects will ensure the employment of 65 people.
