Wide opportunities are being created in Uzbekistan to provide information technology services. Strengthening international cooperation is of particular importance in this regard.

During his visit to Qatar, the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with Mannai’s Executive Director Khalid Mannai, the Corporation’s Group Chief Executive Officer Alekh Grewal, and Mannai InfoTech’s Senior Vice President Binu M R.

Issues of creating an offshore center to provide information technology services in Uzbekistan were discussed during the negotiations.

Special attention was paid to developing, in cooperation with Mannai Corporation and other IT companies in Qatar, a specialized project aimed at improving the employees’ skills and reducing employment costs.

Creating a specialized information technology training center was also considered.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and Mannai Corporation.
