The geography of domestic silk product exports expands

The silkworm industry in Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position in the global market. The meeting in Tashkent between the Uzbekipaksanoat Association’s leadership and a delegation from China was a significant step in this direction.

During the negotiations between the Chairman of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association, R. Abdullayev, First Deputy Chairman M. Sagatov and foreign entrepreneurs, the Chinese side expressed high interest in purchasing high-quality silk yarn and silk wool produced in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed establishing mutually beneficial cooperation, product supply opportunities, and expanding trade relations.

According to experts, the concluded agreements will not only elevate economic relations between the two countries to a new level but also contribute to expanding the geographic reach of domestic silk product exports.
