Boxers of Uzbekistan won the first victories in the matches within the WSB tournament (World Series Boxing), and APB (Amateur-Professional Boxing) conducted at the sports complex "Uzbekistan" in Tashkent.

The boxing match between the national team of Uzbekistan “Uzbek Tigers” and the national team of Puerto Rico “Puerto Rico Hurricanes” in WSB competition ended with the score 5:0. The representatives of our country Abror Kodirov, Elnur Abduraimov, Doston Turdiev, Shuhrat Abdullaev and Sardor Abdullaev took over the Puerto Rican boxers Keybarom Avilla, Steven Ruidiaz, Samuel Kedeno, Juan Carrillo and Valavikus Mantas.

Our boxer Jasurbek Latipov (52 kg), participated in APB competition, stroked with sufficient knockout power Mongolian boxer Murdum Engene Gandulam and the referee declared TKO. Dilshod Mahmudov (69 kg) defeated Yuba Ndiaye Cissokho from Spain, Isroil Madrimov (75 kg) defeated Krishan Vikash Yadav from India.
