The entrepreneur's welfare is a key factor in economic development
A practical seminar, with the participation of Abdulaziz Soliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee, was held in the city of Navoi.
As was emphasized at the beginning of the seminar, special attention is being paid in our country today to developing entrepreneurship, creating more favorable conditions for the private sector, protecting the legal interests of businesspeople, and supporting their initiatives. Indeed, the role of business entities is invaluable in creating new jobs, increasing public income, enhancing the economic potential of regions, and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
The decree of the Head of State "On measures to implement the tasks defined in the VI Open Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Entrepreneurs," dated August 27, 2026, is one of the key documents aimed at further improving the business environment.
During the seminar, comprehensive explanations were provided on measures aimed at supporting business entities, systematically resolving their problems, further simplifying business processes, encouraging entrepreneurial initiatives, and fostering a favorable business environment in the country.
"Our main goal is to reduce excessive administrative barriers to entrepreneurial activity, make relations between businesspeople and government agencies more open and transparent, and create a stable and reliable environment for entrepreneurs operating legally," says Sobir Namozov, head of a department at the regional tax administration. "It is particularly significant that special attention is being paid to ensuring the rights and legal interests of entrepreneurs, studying their existing problems, and resolving them in the proper manner. This is because the more stable the business environment, the greater the opportunities to invest in new projects, expand production, and create new jobs. In today's reforms, alongside the 'individual-society-state' principle, an approach aimed at ensuring the interests of business entities is also being steadily reinforced. Listening to an entrepreneur's problems and assisting in their resolution primarily serves the economic development of the region. Therefore, strengthening the dialogue between state bodies and business entities is emerging as one of the most important tasks. These aspects were also given special attention at the practical seminar."
At the seminar, which was held as an open dialogue, entrepreneurs were given recommendations on how to effectively use the opportunities and benefits provided by the decree and correctly apply existing procedures. Participants also received detailed answers from specialists to the questions that interested them.
