The Eastern Military District celebrates Independence Day
A festive event timed to the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Independence was held at the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Eastern Military District.
The event was organized with the slogan “United by One Homeland and One People, We Will Build a New Life and a New Future!” It was attended by Major General Oybek Saidov, commander of the Eastern Military District, along with his deputies, Armed Forces veterans, and representatives from government, public organizations, and military personnel.
The event focused on strengthening Uzbekistan’s defense potential since independence.
A group of military personnel was solemnly awarded state awards and commemorative signs “O'zbekiston Respublikasi mustaqilligining 35-yilligi”, and also received regular military honors.
The event ended with a concert program by military personnel and artists.
