TextileExpo Uzbekistan creates new opportunities for local manufacturers
Today, the 26th International Exhibition “Textile and Garment Industry – TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026” opened at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex.
At the solemn opening of the exhibition, Nigora Hasanova, Director General of Iteca Exhibitions, and Isfandiyor Gafforov, Head of Department at the Light Industry Development Agency, noted that measures to develop the country’s textile and garment industry are yielding positive results.
Organized by Iteca Exhibitions in cooperation with its partner, ICA Eurasia Group, the exhibition features more than 170 companies and brands from Russia, Türkiye, China, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. More than 400 buyers from 15 countries are also taking part.
According to Nigora Hasanova, Director General of Iteca Exhibitions, the competitiveness of local manufacturers, product quality, and production capacity are increasing.
“From this perspective, TextileExpo Uzbekistan serves as an effective platform for promoting products, expanding business ties, and developing export opportunities. Established in 2004, TextileExpo Uzbekistan has become an important platform for unlocking the export potential of the local textile community since its early years. Today, the exhibition is a prestigious business platform that brings together manufacturers, buyers, retail representatives, and distributors from dozens of countries. Here, effective business contacts are established, supply negotiations are held, new collections are presented, and production opportunities are discussed.
The exhibition also provides an opportunity for many international specialists to collaborate directly with Uzbek factories and discover new suppliers in the region. As a result, the exhibition is moving beyond the format of a simple presentation and becoming a full-fledged practical mechanism that helps develop export supplies and expand the trade geography of Uzbekistan manufacturers”, Ms. Hasanova said.
Notably, this year, more than 20 local companies, including Fazo Group, Kogon Nur Textile, Proftextile, Premier Textile, and Nisa Future, are presenting their capabilities for the first time.
According to Svetlana Smirnova, Marketing Specialist at Fazo Group, the company is one of Uzbekistan’s leading textile manufacturers. It has been operating in the textile sector since 2000.
“Many years of experience enable the company to meet customers’ requirements and produce high-quality products effectively. Fazo Group holds leading positions in sales volume in both domestic and foreign markets. This demonstrates the company’s high production capacity, high product quality, and wide product range. The company offers consumers a wide range of knitwear, sportswear, and clothing for children and teenagers”.
Most importantly, we strive to offer customers high-quality, comfortable, and modern products. Today’s exhibition is a major opportunity for us”, Svetlana Smirnova said.
It should be noted that the three-day exhibition features a wide range of products, from raw materials to finished goods and accessories.
