Uzbekistan’s Polina Kudermetova is participating in the 2026 Mubadala Citi DC Open WTA 500 event in Washington.
In the initial round, P. Kudermetova defeated Cristina Bucsa of Spain, who is ranked 40th in the WTA standings.
In the upcoming round, Polina Kudermetova will compete against Ukraine's Elina Svitolina, who is the second seed.
The tournament’s total prize fund is $1.6 million.
