Tashkent to host Turkish Cinema Days
A grand film festival will take place between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, drawing thousands of viewers and movie fans. On September 25-29, Tashkent will host Turkish Cinema Days as part of the “Meeting of culture and art of Uzbekistan and Türkiye”.
The opening ceremony will take place on September 25 at 18:30 at the Palace of National Cinematography. The event will be attended by renowned filmmakers from both countries. Turkish actors will meet with movie fans and engage in a creative dialogue.
The films “Like a Limbless Tree” (September 26), “Are We Happy?” (September 27), “Look, the Postman is Coming” (September 28), and others will be shown to the audience.
The Turkish Cinema Days aim to strengthen cultural and humanitarian connections between the two countries, promote collaboration in filmmaking, and introduce audiences to the finest works of Turkish cinema.
