On August 27, Tashkent will host a hybrid online conference on “Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan: New prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation”.

The event will be organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Center of Analysis of International Relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The conference will be devoted to discussing the results of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan.

The event will be attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and the heads and experts of the two countries’ leading analytical and research centers.

The agenda includes a discussion of the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, and the development of transport and logistics links between the two countries.
